Alotta Locs Hair Suite® was established in 2015 and has been part of the Metro Detroit community since 2019. ALHS is currently Located in Southfield Michigan, minutes away from downtown Detroit where diversity thrives with deep-rooted culture. ALHS is a welcoming, professional, clean, environment specializing in Sisterlocks™, and offers additional natural hair alternatives for men, women, and children. Since the late ’90s, locs of all shapes and forms have become more trendy in the natural hair community from celebrities to youth of all ages. Traditional Locs are mostly common in standard-sized to large in width with ongoing maintenance every few weeks to keep them beautiful and healthy. Locs can be started on just about any hair length, from short to long or with loc extensions to increase hair length. Generally, locs can be established on most hair types. No locs are identical.
Sisterlocks Payment Plan: Client payment arrangements can be planned within 90 days of consultation date with a 50% down payment. The balance must be paid in full 7 days before the scheduled appointments.

During your Sisterlocks consultation, you’ll receive a full hair assessment to determine if you’re a candidate for Sisterlocks, Q&A hair history, watch the Sisterlocks videos, receive 6-12 sample locs, and a quoted price. The samples will need to be reviewed within 30 days (two shampoo cycles) or sooner. If you wish to continue with booking your appointment it's best to plan ahead and schedule your appointment within 90 days from the consultation date. The consultation fee of $125 non-refundable.
Price is not transferable for the Sisterlocks Package.
Day one of Sisterlocks process. Clients hair must be clean and free of ALL hair products, extensions, hair must be air dried without combing and no heat. Can take up to more than several hours and days (depending on client/ consultant agreement during booking). When complete, client will receive a swag bag, inside is the customer starter kit with instructions to follow plus gifts. Your consultant will schedule your follow-up and first SL re-tightening appointments by the end of the session.
Visit your Sisterlocks consultant within (2-shampoo cycles) to check the integrity of the locks, tighten them up and answer any questions, or concerns and schedule future appointments.
Re-tightening service only (depending on consultant) can take up to 4+ hours. Client hair must be clean and free of products. After session consultant will give a review on hair phases, concerns and directions for proper hair care in between appointments.
Also, it's imperative that you consistently use the Sisterlocks starter shampoo from your customer kit until completely used up. If you should need more Sisterlocks products please reach out to your consultant for purchase or order directly online from home office
What’s expected for Sisterlocks Consultation Session:
Hair must be cleaned 24 hours before the appointment, completely natural, no relaxed hair, no heat damaged hair, no heat trained hair, or color damaged hair. Qualifying lengths for Sisterlocks are between 4 inches of hair and up. We do not provide hair washing services. During the consultation, you will receive your quoted price that’s valid for 90 days, test locs, and additional information regarding Sisterlocks. A 50% deposit is required to hold dates. We accept cash, credit cards, Apple Pay and Venmo. No checks. Your balance must be paid in full 7 days before the scheduled appointment.
